A Light Group Theory Puzzle

I made a group theory puzzle a while ago for a Celeste mod, thought I'd post it here. This puzzle can be solved with zero group theory knowledge, but if you can identify the underlying group and use it to formulate the problem, it will be much easier.

The solution is four cardinal or ordinal directions. Enjoy :)
